The Trendsetters dove into the craziness that is Black Friday, thankfully, surviving and scoring some killer deals to share with you!
This satiny, black dress is from H&M and I got it for $29.99. This beauty is sleek, and is so soft! I wore it the night I bought it for about 4 hours and it kept me warm and comfortable. Such a good deal!
This soft, grey sweater from H&M was $20 and I will never take it off. Not only is it made out of angel hair (at least, I’m pretty sure) but it has the name of the city that will be my home very soon: New York City.
Pic 4: This lacy, black bralette from H&M was $10 and is the perfect piece to layer under sweaters and dresses.
Shopping. Yahooooo! Shopping is one activity that I like to spend my time and my money on. I love shopping because it makes me happy and it’s really fun. And who doesn’t like Black Friday? Everyone was waiting for Black Friday to go shop the big sales there are that day. I was so excited for Black Friday before coming to the USA.
My first Black Friday here in Missoula was so crazy. My friends and I went to Southgate Mall after we had brunch. We went to the mall together, but since there were a lot of people and it was not your usual day at the mall, we decided to go separately. There were a lot of people and was such a busy day. I decided to do some shopping in H&M. I found two beautiful modern long sleeves, which is the white and yellow one. I love both of them, because those still new and super stylish and it so cute on me. Also because the weather is become more cold, I decided to bought some warm clothes. There I found one beautiful grey scarf on sale. Wow! I love it . Last but not least, I found one beautiful necklaces with rings also in H&M.
After shopping at H&M, I walked around the mall and decided to look at some things like jewelry in Rue 21 . I went in for about 20 minutes and bought some beautiful jewelry, but unfortunately I got stuck in a long line there. I was so tired and got really bored while in line because there were a lot of people and it was so crazy and not like my experience at H&M before. Finally, I got to pay for my stuff at the cashier, and it surprised me how the price was not expensive as I expected.
Wow, it was a super crazy Black Friday. It ‘s not the end of my shopping on Black Friday. I also got one set of new products from MAELLE. New makeup and skin products. Maelle is a new company about cosmetic and skin care that just launched on 1st of November and I just joined this company for 1 week. This quality of cosmetic is high and very good. I got one set of cosmetics with a beautiful Laptop bag. Overall, I was so excited with what I got on Black-Friday.
I found out this year that I don’t think I like Black Friday very much. It’s not that I even mind the crowds of people or the fact that it’s based off of extreme consumerism the day after Thanksgiving (okay, maybe I mind that part a tad.) My inner shopping addict just can’t handle it. The amazing deals, in store and online alike, bloggers sharing their Black Friday picks and the overall feeling of FOMO if you didn’t score an incredible deal. It all get’s a bit too much. That being said, I scored some pretty incredible deals.
I purchased these beautiful Hunter boots online a day or two before Black Friday because Nordstrom started some sales early. I’ve been eyeing them for FOREVER, and once I found out they were 25% off I knew I had to snatch them up. These are the ones Julia Engel from Gal Meets Glam has, so needless to say, I’m pretty pumped. I can’t wait for them to arrive so I can finally go splash in some puddles in style.
I picked up this cozy Jack by BB Dakota sweater from Sora & Company on Black Friday while perusing for Christmas gifts that afternoon (classic.) They were having a 25% off sale on the entire store and having passed up this sweater in the past because of the price tag, I couldn’t leave it behind this time around. The color doesn’t come across so great on camera but it’s a dreamy dusty rose in person and I just cant’t get enough.
After work, I decided to hit up a couple stores in the mall to get a head start on my Christmas shopping. Of course, I ended up coming across a couple pieces for myself too. I picked up this adorable white criss-cross top and this gorgeous plaid coat for 20% at Apricot Lane. I already have thought of a million ways to style these pieces and I can’t wait to incorporate them into future Trendsetters at the U ensembles.
That night I ended up climbing into bed, frustrated with myself for not finding more things for others while out on my Black Friday excursion. I took to the internet and got a huge chunk of my Christmas shopping done from my bed. The beauty of the internet, people!
We hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving Break!
